Monggrel is a one man electronic band that fuses lo-fi beats, dub rhythms, industrial noise, and field recordings into an immersive listening experience. Monggrel is the alias for American musician B. Wood. His latest album, Ceremonies, was conceived after he returned from an inspired journey to the Indian subcontinent where he captured exotic and esoteric field recordings. Over the course of a year and a half, Ceremonies became the culmination of the rhythm and toil, beauty and squalor that he experienced in the vibrant Indian cities.
